Sitting Truck fixes

so I'm picking up a Seirra on Friday that's been sitting for last year and half or so. Guy told me that he replaced the fuel pump drove it around and it shut down wouldn't start back up and parked it. He said it def needs a battery but doesn't know what else. So besides fresh fuel and battery...

Motor Locked Up

So had this ticking sound didnt think much of it till it turned into a loud clunk when driving home then truck just shut off. Now it wont do jack when you go to turn it over it just thunks like a dead battery(which has a brand new battery) What are my options i have when comes to a motor? I just...
