Stereo distortion problems...Help Please!

To me it sound's like something is out of phase(as sewlow mentioned), or there is a speaker wire somewhere touching metal. Try disconnecting one speaker at a time at the amp and see if anything get's better.

I'm having speaker issues

The 6.5" may have come disconnected, a broken wire in the harness, or possibly the speaker may have just gone bad. More than likely nothing the shop did, just unlucky timing.

Anybody tried one of these?

The only thing to check is make sure you have no radio stations near the bands that it gives you. That is just an FM modulator, nothing new or exotic there. Personally I would head to your local car stereo shop and pick up a name brand piece. Then you know what you are getting. You will also...

I don't think the bundle is on all of the trucks. A pretty good portion of the work I do involves trailer wiring and I have seen these trucks without the bundle. The one ton I built years ago had it, it was a 92. My z71 extended cab didn't, but my fathers 97 2wd long box did, both 96-98's. As...

What is this?

Most remote start antenna's go down the driver's side a-pillar. I have installed almost every brand of remote start and have never seen that variation of antenna.

Can't figure out my power locks...

It would appear that the door lock harness controls you have controls a relay pack much like the 95-98 keyless entry trucks. I have never run across a harness that looks like that in an older truck. According to the installer software I have, a 92 Suburban uses a positive triggered door lock...
