    Overhead console door opener bricks

Probably Brandon because from what I can tell the overhead console was never a factory option in regular cab trucks, at least not in 1993 like my truck is.

    Overhead console door opener bricks

Since I have a regular cab it doesn't have any of the mounting points factory. I ended up cutting the rear mounting ears off the console and then finding self tapping screws that were just long enough to go through the factory console front hole and then two screws in the rear through the back...

    1993 4.3 Intake Gaskets

And that's the same place my heater hose hooks up.

    1993 4.3 Intake Gaskets

Interesting. Like I said, neither one of the gasket sets I got new or the originals I removed from my V6 had steam holes.

    1993 4.3 Intake Gaskets

V8 engines have the heater core feed up at the front of the engine correct? On my 4.3 it's off the passenger side rear, maybe that's why my original gaskets and 2 of the replacement sets (Felpro and Victor) both had the rear ports completely blocked off.

    1993 4.3 Intake Gaskets

Well job is complete. No major issues other than #6 sparkplug was loose for some reason. While it was down for the intake gaskets I went ahead and did valve cover gaskets, new module in the distributor, replaced my leaking oil pressure sending unit and put a new water pump on. Considering I...

    1993 4.3 Intake Gaskets

I didn't know there is an internal coolant passage. The current Felpro gaskets don't have any kind of opening or steam hole for the rear passages though, they are completely blocked.

    1993 4.3 Intake Gaskets

Oh, I forgot to mention this truck is an early 93, build date of November 1992.

    1993 4.3 Intake Gaskets

I just ordered some Victor gaskets that show a metal restrictor deal in the back holes. As to my truck according to the factory parts book and a VIN research I did on it, it has the NB2 California emissions setup and the NRQ close coupled exhaust system which also goes along with that emissions...

    1993 4.3 Intake Gaskets

I'm going to be doing intake gaskets and some other work on my 1993 4.3 this coming weekend, but I'm wondering if I have the correct intake gaskets. I went with Felpro's but the rear coolant port is blocked off on them and on my truck the heater gets fed from the rear crossover passage in the...

Tunerpro rt and 1993 Silverado issues

Ok, I'll try that tomorrow after work. Thanks!

Tunerpro rt and 1993 Silverado issues

I believe so, there looks to be 3 different files and I for the moment just picked one for now. It didn't say which kind of transmission though. After working a 12+ hour day I admit my patience and energy levels aren't very high lol! I did take this picture of the computer last year when I had...

Tunerpro rt and 1993 Silverado issues

Hi all. Ive got the tunerpro rt software downloaded on my laptop running windows 10 and the red devil river usb to truck connection I got off Ebay. I'm attempting to use this on a 1993 Silverado 4.3 with 4L60E transmission and cannot get the truck to communicate with my laptop. Granted I'm not a...

Headliner, overhead console and new sunvisors

It's a darker gray faux leather from Joann Fabric. I got it last fall. Other than I thought the darker shade would contrast nicely with the stock gray interior it was also on sale. I think I gave like $24 for the chunk I got.

Headliner, overhead console and new sunvisors

Well it's done and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm no professional interior person like sewlow, in fact this is my first time ever messing around with a headliner. There are a couple of very small wrinkles by the edges but they are mostly covered up by the A pillar panels. Considering LMC wanted...

Headliner, overhead console and new sunvisors

I finally started on my last big project, redoing my ripped sagging headliner as well as upgrading to the fancy sunvisors with extensions and lighted vanity mirrors and a factory overhead console that I modified so the map lights will come on with their switches as well as light up when the...

    Rattle Can WA-U9794

I think it matches pretty good other than I really need to give my truck a good waxing to bring back the luster of the original paint.

Wanting to throw the original radio back in my truck.

I went back with a factory stereo and added a $25 bluetooth FM modulator. Besides letting me use Spotify from my phone I can take calls through it. It has a mic on it and the caller comes through on the speakers. I made an L bracket to mount it under the climate control where it is handy to get to.

    Overhead console door opener bricks

Thanks Brandon, once again I owe you! Btw I think I'm going to attempt to get the wiring done on the console today liked we talked about with the diodes seeing as how I have time to mess with it.

    Overhead console door opener bricks

I don't actually have a remote at the moment. I'm going to be installing the overhead console this spring when I redo my headliner and I just noticed I didn't get the bricks with it so I figured I'd see if I could come up with some. I see there's two storage spots so I assumed it came with 2...

    Overhead console door opener bricks

I'm in need of the two lego looking bricks that go into the garage door opener pocket of the factory overhead console in these trucks. I thought I had read somewhere that actual Lego bricks would work but I just tried that and it was a no-go lol! Thanks!

    Aftermarket Rear Defroster

Yes I did since they don't have near the current draw as the factory rear defroster. I planned ahead when doing the mirrors thinking I might eventually add a defrost grid to my topper rear window and after some advice on here figured that would be too much current draw for this switch so I just...

Gray sunvisors with extensions and lighted mirrors

Honestly I'm not 100% sure My gray pair came off of Ebay and they didn't list the year other than they were 1995 to 1998. I got a maroon pair from a member on here with the complete wiring harness and they were from a 1994 Suburban.
