I had a similar problem with the passenger door handle in my Tahoe. At that time, I had already broken the drivers door handle and figured the passenger was getting bad too. So I just ordered new chrome handles for all four doors. I think it gives it a more luxury look.
I really like how you turned your 97 around, shined her up, and made her into a very nice stock OBS. I am a sucker for black OBS ECSB, especially when they are left stock.
I'd kill for my school to have a contract with KW or Mack. We have one with JD and CAT, but I'm not a farm kid, and the CAT dealership in town is very poorly run. So I went with General Diesel instead, which means HD trucks. You'll love it man!
Damn that pic above looks sweet! I like the functionality of the LED parklights, just not the look. IDK I'm partial to the TYC look tho. But I have LED parklight switchbacks in the mail, so I will still have the functionality.
Go for the 460. 94-97 F250s that were diesel powered were powered by the early powerstroke. People still think these things are worth its weight in gold, at least around here they do. 7.3 IDI quit production mid 94 with the rare turbo IDI 7.3
I've noticed that my oakely's dont it in the sunglasses compartment on the overhead console, but instead, its a perfect place to stash my emergency supply of Copenhagen to hide from the ol' lady.
I really dig it. There is another silver OBS I've seen running around Fargo/Moorhead with the NBS cab lights. If I had a pickup, I'd do it in a heart beat. I just dont know what how it would look on a tahoe.
Here's that pickup I've seen in Fargo at the fire station up north:
