Tailgate headaches.

Tried :/ problem is as you said you need a long thin screw driver, and u tried that but ending up bending it. May need to use the sledge hammer and order a new one or find one at the junkyard.

Hey all. Went to open the tailgate on my 97 k1500 last week and got a loud "snap" left rod and anchor to the handle fell out,(have the rod) BUT, now I can't get the damn thing open! I've spent hours screwing with it and for the life of me cannot get the tail gate to open on the truck. I tried...

97 k1500 Fluid for front + rear diff +transfer case

Hey all. I have a buddy of mine doing some maintenance to my truck before landscaping season starts. He asked me to run out and buy some fluid. I have a 97 k1500 with a 5.0. It's a short bed. I need to know what fluid I need for the front and rear diff, as well as the transfer case. Advice from...

Why does no one make lower control arms ?????!

Also wondering why nobody makes them. I just had my front end done and was irritated because I wanted to just replace them with the lower ball joints already installed. No luck. Added significant cost for my buddy to press out the old the sleeves and ball joints.

Hey guys. My mechanic is doing my front end and unfortunately he had to cut the lower control arm bolts to get them out. (Doing ball joints and all that) I have located the rears and have them, but CANNOT find the fronts anywhere and starting to panic as it's my plow truck. Any input or advice...
