Hello y’all... I have a 99 k1500 5.7.. I want a new engine but can’t seem to find one that’s ca legal... was looking for a crate motor like jegs crate motor but says it’s not smog legal in ca.. don’t want to spend 2k and not be able to pass smog any help!- Ryan Moilanen

The shop told me to get a new cap and rotor... I had a non-acdelco brand cap and rotor, they said to get the acdelco one so I did, they said it was cross firing in the cap.. I installed new acdelco and still nothing- Ryan Moilanen

So I have a 99 k1500, 5.7 my truck one day just quit on me while driving.. I have replaced battery, cap, rotor, plugs, wires Are good, new crankshaft pos sensor, had the thing timed less than a year ago from a local shop, has compression I tested it almost 150 on all 8.. there is good fuel...- Ryan Moilanen

Throttle position sensor ?... in my live data my throttle percent seems fine whenever I push the pedal.. or should I hook up a multimeter to it? And I’ll upload some pics of the fuel trims and o2 sensors.. and I’m a little lost on the ground thing is there any specific ground that usually would...- Ryan Moilanen

I've sprayed carb cleaner all around hoses and I take gasket and didn't notice anything... I'll try and do a smoke test and see, thanks I appreciate it!- Ryan Moilanen
