Thanks Richard. I took your advice. I ordered 20X10's for the rear and 20X8.5's for the front. Tires are 275/35/20 and 255/35/20.

Swapping out factory 5 speed for 6 speed...

I'd like to swap out my factory 5 speed for a 6 speed. From what I understand, the 5 speeds are inherently week. Any pro's/con's? What all is involved?

I ordered wheels and tires today. Going with a 20X10 on the rear and 20X8.5 on the front. Looking for ideas on rear brake conversions. What's everyone doing?

I am also looking for ideas on wheel and tire combos. What is the widest wheel I can put on the back of my truck? I think I want to put a set of staggered 18" and 20" wheels on the truck, but am open to suggestions.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I don't know a whole lot about these trucks and am not sure what a BYP code is, lol. I've drag raced move of my adult life but have been out of the game for the past few years. My plans are to put a larger cubic inch SBC in it and install a 6 speed eventually...
