tire size
Hey folks, my 97 2wd 1500 sb. just lowered 5/7. love it! my question is this, i have 15x8 SS wheels and 235/75/15s on all 4 corners, i would like to put wider tires on the back but same maybe little bit diameter. want to keep the even look but would like more meat under the rear. in 15" any...- Red Bowtie

trash truck rear drum brake sound
Well folks, im at my wits end! 1997 2dr,swb,silverado, Front disk rear drum. It seems i have been fighting this problem since a friend borrowed my trk. and parked it with the emer. brake on. I hopped in it 5 miles up the rd i could smell brakes , looked in my drivers mirror and the rear drivers...- Red Bowtie

1997 Silverado to be lowered 5/7
This is my 1997 pick-up . bought about 3 months ago. Plans after Christmas is 5/7 drop Beltech shocks,spindles and springs in front and c-notch frame, flip rear end and shocks. Also plan to install new poly bushings an front sway bar and rear leaf bushings. Will keep ya up dated. Merry Christmas...- Red Bowtie

Overdrive option
Ok folks I have owned alot of 88-97 full size silverado trucks and have always wondered why GM trannys go into OD so quick even if not needed like over 35 mph? Can I splice the OD wire that is working with my brake pedal stop light switch and install my own manual OD switch? Almost like a tow...- Red Bowtie
