Ken's 1989 "Stubby" Build

Just had a semi roll backwards into me at a light. Too close? No. I was 10+ feet behind him. So he's agreed to handle the bumper and grill trim out of pocket. On the hunt for a 6.5 bumper now.

It is mounted via some custom brackets that I cut out of 16Ga steel. Bent them both in about 3.5" and drilled mounting holes. The wind noise above 45mph was horrible, until i took some "fender trim" from auto zone and lined the middle 3 cooling fins. Now it is quiet as can be. And it is a curved...

Yea. I prefer the GMC trim personally. The W/T front end is by far the one I hate the most. Everything on my truck has been rebadged to the sierra trim. I have all the badges, just don't think I want them on my tailgate/b pillars Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
