Best luggy 285/75/16 tires

I have these right now. I love them. Pretty decent off road, good on highway, and they do suprisingly good in the snow and ice. They are a little noisy when compared to a street tire but that is to be expected. Plus they look good too. Bonus

Ok... I think I am doing to wait on the locker until I can afford to regear and put an ARB or E-Locker in it. So that leaves new leaf springs to get rid of the lift blocks, or a cat back custom exhaust. I think I am going to leave the stock exhaust manifold on. So my question is how much of a...

35s & gas mileage

I went from 14-15 stock to 12 when i lifted and went to 35's... although i am still currently geared 3.73... i am running the full RCX 6" and there is tons of room for 35's... i am going to try to decrank to 4" and maybe remove the add a leaf to see how that fits. ps the 12 mpg is if i set...

Fan Clutch and gear ratio???

well i put in the 160 thermostat... and sure enough now it wont get over 140... before with the 195 in it, it would run 210-215 pretty much all the time... so question. should i try maybe a 180? and is running at 130-140 way too cold? will it damage anything or just suck fuel?

Ok so its time to replace the fan clutch... when i was getting one they asked me what my gear ratio was. two questions 1. Why does that matter? 2. Since im running bigger tires should i get one for a higher gear ratio?

Haha yea the tires were def more than $200 a pop... The grill guard came was on it when i got it but you can get them on jc whittney and summit im pretty sure... i was actually thinking of getting the side pieces that cover the headlights too... they just bolt on to the center piece.

Thanks... yea i noticed that but im thinking maybe its because my driveway is not level.... it feels level on flat ground... i honestly havent investigated it much since these pics... i ended up going with Kelly Safari TSR's 315/75... pretty happy w/ them... especially for how quick i got them...

hard decisions!

i just got the rcx... so far so good although it rides a little rough because of the crank... i wonder if the dc would ride that much better due to less crank??? just a thought

350 tbi to 454 tbi swap??

Has anybody swapped a 454 into a k1500? would that be a fairly bolt on procedure? would the weight of the big block be too much for the front end?

What about a matte/satin black with a high gloss black two-tone or stripe up the center? use some sort of liner on the rockers and around wheel wells? I don't know just a thought.
