Need help finding programmer

I have a laptop and a iphone and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to use either or both as a programmer that will work with 96 up vortec.

96 k1500 wont start...

96 k1500 will not start but acts like it will soooooooo......lost. Will start after setting overnight but after about a couple or min it looses power until it dies then will not restart but wants to. Changed the temp sensor but same thing. Any ideas?

Replace ecm or reprogram?

I changed a blown 96 350 vortec with a 98 305 vortec and need to know what is the best way to get it running as it should. I do not have a tuner/programmer and don't really want to spend the cash on one that I will use only to set the 305 up. Can I buy a 305 computer from salvage and just...
