    Suburban Bumper build

    Looks good , with what i know now about these frames i would add a bolt on skid plate from bottom of the bumper to the crossmember for the lower control arms using 2 braces in a H pattern with skid plate under it . The frame horns just arent like early 80's trucks.

    I Prefer edelbrock carbs on daily drivers with steady vacuum , no choppy idle engines. High perf holley but you need to know how to tune. 90% of problems i see are powervalve related.

    UPstream o2 sets your fuel trim iirc downstream is cat performance. NOrmally i would replace the 2 upstreams and retest. Even amazon carries o2 sensors.

    MAy be more better to 5.3l ls swap pcm swap , efilive to reprogram . 5.3l with cam can do 400 hp easy a/c bracket intergrating gauges are the biggest issues. BUt if you dead set on carb may be msd atomic trans controller and normal hei.

    I Bought the fj504 years ago and the bracket underneath so the o ring doesnt leak at the intake . Lube that seal much easier. The yukon l31 also got a cam , distributor , at the same time for rough idle was poppets stuck at idle. CAm was 14097395 and under$200 delivered. Runs great 5 years now.

    Did you test Volts or use test light , sometimes reistance in bad wires lights up but the voltage is too low. And definitely use a guage.
