Just an update, I found out that one of the brake light bulbs on my center stop light was out! I replaced it and I'll find out on Monday if that fixes any of the problems!- frydlittlman

OK first things first. The Specs: 1997 Silverado (k1500) 5.7L Vortec 350 SBC Rebuilt stock 4l60e new multi-function switch on the column. recently replaced stoplamp switch on the brake pedal. Have some engine parts (all Stock)
Do you still have those 5.7L Vortec cylinder heads? I have a 97 k1500 that I need to do a head job on. When your piston rings messed up did it mess up the valves or the pushrods or anything in the cylinder heads? Also what are the casting numbers on those heads just to make sure?
