    the 305 is externally balanced as well. the vortec heads would be my worry whether they're cracked or not and how the cc of the combustion would effect the compression with a stock cam.

    Can I use an '86 350 tpi motor in my truck?

    look on the block by the trans flange where the bell housing bolts to the block on the drivers side it might just say 5.0 or 5.7 I know the 305 in my brothers 84 camaro does aswell as alot of the motors I disassembled at the shop would say it if, the block was a one piece rear seal.

    So I finally got the stuff to fix the oil leak, a rear main seal set and one piece oil pan gasket set both from felpro, along with a Ac/delco oil filter and 5 quarts of 10w/30 Orielly's oil. I fixed the lift blocks today, I ordered superlift 2" lift blocksfrom Jegs and they sent the wrong nuts...

    Whats up guys im Owl I'm in the process of buyin my buddies 92 K1500 Z71. I think it has a lift but, I'm not sure though. The truck has a 350 and 5 speed it sits on 265/75R16's. it needs the left rear lift block replaced already got the parts priced so ill be getting to that soon.
