    It's my experience, that here in Michigan, splicing a leak in a shitty line, generally results in a leak about 10" from the first one, in about 10 months. The dealer quote is certainly fair, since I'm sure that cover's replacing all lines.

    Unplug the main connector on the side of the trans, it should lock itself in second and move forward then.

    They are kind of pinkish, not as red as I'd like. I got like twenty bulbs in the cheap little kit I bought so I'll stick them in the dome, map, and under dash tomorrow in the daylight if I don't sleep in until dark like today.

    It's from a shortbed lol. My point being, if they make, anything in the world, the way you really want it, it's ALWAYS easier, simpler, and more reliable, to just go buy it that way. V6 to V8 swaps, 2wd to 4x4, auto to manual, all needlessly complicated. Which I imagine is what the OP...

    Spider is a must upgrade. Ac Delco is the way to go. Header's will work, IF you weld on an O2 bung.

    That's about the best way to put it. They made ton's of these trucks that already have 6.5's, just go buy one of them.
