Heater control problems

I swapped wiring looms in my truck and now the heater control won't illuminate or work at all. The loom I took out was for a truck with a sweep gauge cluster and none of the cluster worked right. The loom I put in is for a moon gauge cluster and some of it works right. The speedo works, but...
