    Drove it out of the garage this evening. I am going to need a quieter muffler . But it has a small drip coming out of the bell housing but I am not too worried I think it'll clear up

    Good news the seal was there between the rear main housing and the block. I had installed the actual rear main seal backwards :lol:. Oh well I have the transmission, transfercase, and crossmember all reinstalled. Hopefully I can get this running tomorrow.

    This is the best picture I have right now of the rear main after it was installed. But there doesn't appear to be a seal behind the rear main adapter. I fell asleep last night so I didn't get the flex plate off I did get the transmission off Monday night. I would have dropped it all the way but...

    Well.. no tune today. The trans is coming out. The oil isn't leaking out of the dip stick, if it is not much is coming out. I am pretty sure the rear main is leaking. And not the seal that goes around the crank... I think that the rear main seal kit I bought right at the beginning of this...

    Yeah way easier to run than a dual and duals aren't really necessary. I may end up with a different muffler though lol this one may end up too loud.

    I think the transmission will be fine for now I had it "built" a few years back and they put in a shift kit, beast sunshell, and vet servo. The exhaust is well... loud lol. Mid length headers into a 2.5" y-pipe into a single 3" going through 1 spintech 6000 (or 9000 I don't remember which)...

    And the video. It needs a tune in a bad way so I haven't run it much more since it doesn't want to idle. I need to figure out why my tach isn't working and I think I may have my distributor off a tooth. So just a couple things I need to figure out.

    Motor is in and basically completed, it's further along than these pictures but I was tired last night and didn't get any new pictures. I'm going to try to start it today.

    I have the heads back on. And the motor itself is complete I just have a few more odds and ends to get. I am planning on putting it in the truck in 3 or 4 weeks.

    I should update this. I am going to try to swap the motor in over Christmas break. I only need a hand full more parts, of course they are all expensive. So I need; coil pack brackets, exhaust, power steering pump, and a tune. I'd post a picture but right now it's kind of back in parts...

    From the low part of the valley between the heads to where the spacer is bolted is right at 6" tall and then it's in the very center not towards the front of the manifold like the factory manifold

    Uhh EGR... its invisible... yeah that's it, it's there it's just invisible :rotflmao:. But yeah I am not running one. I am not planning on making it look like there is one either. Last time I got a legit inspection I don't think they even popped the hood, I could be wrong though. But either way...

    It should be done by next month. Cool piece that will probably help the marine intake guys as well. I didn't want to drill into the intake but I wanted to run the coolant bypass.
