That looks like a good idea. If it were me i would get a blow up queen matress to throw on top because queens fit almost perfect between the bedrails on these trucks.

I actually already have one that I plan on using, gonna run a second battery to my power inverter as well.

I did it last year, and it was a lot more crude, but my intent was to make it modular so that I could take it back out easy, due to me only keeping my camper top on in the fall and winter. This yeah im thinking of just making everything more permanent.

These are from when I first did it last deer season. Like I said Very basic, but was built with the intent on taking it back out the following spring which I did, but this year I am thinking of doing a more in depth / better / semi permanent type of set up.
