"Engine Swap"... Vortec 4.3L V6 to Vortec 5.7L V8

Any tips for changing out old frame engine mounts? I have lowered the lower a arm for access and replaced bushings as well since they needed replaced anyways

Been awhile and it is only me doing the swap after work and household duties on weekends, here we are so far 0411 is on order... Then it's getting Jeff's schematic and going from there...

Fast forward to June 2021...ended up static dropping it 4 in front 6 in rear, roughly 10xxx miles a year, and now intake gasket blew...so bought a used 5.7 out of 96 suburban, and currently swapping that over and swap to quad lights As of right now

Currently doing this swap myself. 97 4.3 to 96 5.7 swap, along with grill and quad lights Some before pics since I purchase the cherry picker tomorrow and will start unbolting everything...

My new toy...

Here is my 3rd osb chevy, this one is a 97 with 118xxx actual miles, and i am the 2nd owner of it. Future plans is to slam it either air ride or static and have a nice daily driver
