What kind of backspacing will work?

What about a 17x8 with 4.5" backspacing and 0 offset? I really like these wheels, just not the sizes available. The 17's would be wrapped by the same tire, except in a 295/70/17. I'd like a wide stance, but not too wide. I'm not really into tires sticking out way past the fenders.

What kind of backspacing will work?

I am about to order some wheels/tires for my 98. It's an ECSB Z71. I'm going with the Cooper Discoverer STT LT tires in a 305/60/18. The wheels I want are the Helo HE835. The issue is, to get that wheel in an 18" diameter they have a 5.71" backspacing. Would that work? If not, what range...

New guy in town!

Been reading this forum off and on lately, during my search for an ECSB truck. Finally bought one yesturday. Picked up a Green 98 Z71 with the 5.7L Vortec. I can't wait to get to work on it to make her a little more my own. A little personal background; I grew up in southern Indiana...
