could this be a flex plate issue? it ticks so quickly it has me wondering and thinking it isn't a lifter or rod knock. because the engine runs smooth and has good power.
on cold start I get a pretty noticable ticking. what I find weird it that when I put it in drive or reverse and accelerate, the ticking picks up. but it also ticks when I apply pressure to the brakes. if I rev it past 2800rpm the tick goes away. did anyone have an idea of what this could be...

I'm having a hell of a time finding the stamped steel pads/supports that ho on the underside of the stepside bed. What's everyone doing to replace these? Or making your own?
Plus the headers I received have a o2 sensor on the drivers side before the collector.( my truck manifolds did not) anyone know what thread size I need to block off that side?
Welp my headers came today (GO914) passenger side bolted up! Pretty good fitment.thr rear passenger side plug was kind of hard to get on but she goes on with a little persuasion.
