98 Sierra k1500 rod knock or lifter tick?

could this be a flex plate issue? it ticks so quickly it has me wondering and thinking it isn't a lifter or rod knock. because the engine runs smooth and has good power.

it actually goes away completely once I rev it past 2800rpm. goes completely away.

on cold start I get a pretty noticable ticking. what I find weird it that when I put it in drive or reverse and accelerate, the ticking picks up. but it also ticks when I apply pressure to the brakes. if I rev it past 2800rpm the tick goes away. did anyone have an idea of what this could be...

redoing the transmission lines on my 94 standard cab stepside truck. After just replacing my driveshaft to transmission seal and advanced auto giving me a seal without a boot I returned it to match the booted seal that was on my trans which was apparently for a 4l80. But then I counted the trans...

Yes they rotted terribly. I'd rather not make my own unless someone had a thread lol

I'm having a hell of a time finding the stamped steel pads/supports that ho on the underside of the stepside bed. What's everyone doing to replace these? Or making your own?

Shorty headers for lowered 4x4

I see the g9014 headers have a 2.5 inch collector diameter but these off road y pipe only has a 2.25 inch inlet. Would that be a problem?

Plus the headers I received have a o2 sensor on the drivers side before the collector.( my truck manifolds did not) anyone know what thread size I need to block off that side?

Welp my headers came today (GO914) passenger side bolted up! Pretty good fitment.thr rear passenger side plug was kind of hard to get on but she goes on with a little persuasion.
