First year of extended cab with opening rear door to the back seat?

The PO owner of my ecsb must have hauled straw and seed corn around in the back. Seriously I found a ton of straw in there when I pulled the interior.

Floor Board/Door Jam Channel Area Repair

I have a ton of new interior parts to put in and I am wanting to get my seats mounted. The issue I have is a small area of the floor and door jam have some rust and there is a small hole. I don't have a welder so I am in search of options. I have heard that the seam sealers today are strong...

    Thedoods 95 K1500

@Jorge6.5 I just double checked and it was $141.78 to my door. If I ever get the floor fixed and get it in I will let you know how it went.

I'm also with you on the carpet vs vinyl thing. The places the wife and I enjoy going are no place for carpet.

    Thedoods 95 K1500

My new vinyl floor has been in. As soon as I get the floor itself fixed in I can lay the flooring down. The first batch of front end components arrived as well. I have received the new pitman arm, idler arm, and idler arm bracket. My alternator failed, the bearing started whining but still...

    A/C Clutch Noise

Thanks all who replied. I stopped last night and bought a new 105 amp alternator. Right now I am unable to do a lot of work myself so I had arranged to have someone helping me put it on at work today. On the way in it failed. It hadn't locked up but it did quit charging.

    A/C Clutch Noise

I took the belt off today and the alternator is actually making the noise. Huge relief. The noise apparently was traveling through the engine and sounded as if it was coming from the block. Gave me heart palpitations. Now the decision is reman or new alternator and should I bump up to 124 amp...

    A/C Clutch Noise

Thanks and I appreciate the reply. I think my issues may go much deeper. I will find out on my lunch but I think I may have a botched oil change, if so this will be the second time in a row a third party serviced this truck and cost me money.

    A/C Clutch Noise

My A/C has started making some god awful noises. I am not prepared to replace the whole compressor. I was looking at parts online and it looks like the bearing in the clutch can be replaced, a part is listed for it anyway so I was thinking of going this route. Nothing has froze up as of yet...

    CV Shaft Prices and Brands

@Fuzzy, Do you remember if you purchased a heavy duty set? I'm curious if cv axle replacement is something others think I should do and get out of the way since I will be in there anyway. I am hearing an occasional popping in the front when I take off (in 2 wheel drive) and when I turn. I know I...

    CV Shaft Prices and Brands

I'm gathering parts of my 1995 K1500 and was on Rock Auto pricing CV Shafts. The AC Delco were 300+ bucks, the next most expensive were like $85. Are the AC Delco that much better? What brand would the members here recommend? Thanks for the help in advance. Edit: This is a stock truck that...

    Thedoods 95 K1500

I ordered more parts yesterday. I ordered an idler arm, idler arm bracket, and a pitman arm. Later this week I will order all new tie-rod ends, tie-rod connectors, and ball joints. I am debating changing the control arm bushings at the same and just being done with it. The steering and...
