Remote keyless entry

Alright, so I jump the 2 terminals, and nothing happens. From what im hearing the doors should lock and unlock. I think i may have a larger issue here

I checked and I do have the AU0 code in the glove box. Any idea what to do now?

Play In Rear Axle Shaft

About 8 months ago, I noticed a little of in and out play in my rear passenger side axle shaft. It has just enough play to blow the axle seal allowing gear oil into the brake drum, ultimately making my rear brakes stick. The left (Driver) side doesnt have as much play and doesn't break seals...

Dome Light not working when opening door

Thanks for the info @kennythewelder, Ill have to try that out tomorrow, that seems to be my last resort is to look for broken wires or a bad ground.

Yeah thats what im thinking, however, with the switch out i connect the leads with a wire and still nothing happens. And the dome override button is out. Im not sure man

Ive been trying to fix this problem for a while now and cannot come to a conclusion. In my 97 k1500, the dome light works when i turn it on with the switch, however it will not activate with the opening and closing of the doors. I tried it with the dome over ride button pressed in and out...
