HVAC issues - air isn't blowing from ANY location

Yep, the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that you are right. The system was acting exactly as you described. Quick cleaning is on the agenda for this weekend. I did some more research and found a couple of other threads where folks used some kind of non-rinsing foam with pretty...

Where is the drain line located on these trucks?

HVAC issues - air isn't blowing from ANY location

Right. I was thinking more along the lines of a way to literally see the evap and see if it was frozen. I'll test it this weekend though. I replaced the fan just a few thousand miles ago and cleaned out any debris that was in the housing (there wasn't much). I really don't want to have to...

HVAC issues - air isn't blowing from ANY location

I'll check freon level and see what it is showing. Radiator and condenser are both clean and clear, so should be flowing fine. What's the best way to check the evaporator to see if it is in fact freezing over?

HVAC issues - air isn't blowing from ANY location

My apologies, I got sidetracked when writing the original post and forgot to add vehicle info when I came back to it. 1999 K2500 Suburban

HVAC issues - air isn't blowing from ANY location

Ran into an odd issue last weekend while on a 300 mile trip. Started out everything was good, then I noticed that the air coming from the vents (was running AC as it was warm outside) was coming out very slowly. I start paying attention and after another 10 minutes it wasn't coming out at all...

Coolant temp sensor - what is a good replacement?

This one did the trick! I crimped a spade connector on the harness and hooked it up. Easier to install too because I could put a socket over it. AC Delco temp sender

Coolant temp sensor - what is a good replacement?

I'm going to wait until it gets here and see what the difference is. I'm sure it's just thread size.

Coolant temp sensor - what is a good replacement?

It very well could be. Curious as to why GM used different ones.

Coolant temp sensor - what is a good replacement?

I have this one coming from Amazon. I got it just based on looks, so not positive that it will fit. I'll find out in a few days! Temp Sender

Coolant temp sensor - what is a good replacement?

I guess I was in a hurry last night and forgot to post vehicle info... that would have helped a lot! It's a '99 K2500 Suburban 7.4. And you are right... I'm looking for the sending unit that feeds the gauge, not the ECM.

Coolant temp sensor - what is a good replacement?

Howdy guys - I was replacing exhaust manifold gaskets tonight and managed to tear the wire off of the temp sensor in the driver's side head. I've already soldered it together once, which was a real pain. Anyone know a good replacement part number? I'm having trouble finding one with a...

WTB: Working factory radio - late 90s

I've been looking at this same version on eBay. I'm tempted to grab one and put a whole system in, but then I think about total cost and I keep putting it off. It is definitely on my wish list though!

    1999 L29 7.4 - which spark plugs for a .050 gap?

Just like the title says, I'm looking for spark plugs for my '99 K2500 suburban. I've read a lot of different posts with spark plug numbers, but I don't see any that are pre-gapped to .050. Everything I've seen is for the stock .060. Any leads on part numbers?
