    1999 c3500HD 4x4

Thanks! Any question just ask. I had posted the whole story from the get go on c3500hd.Com but the website didn’t get a whole lot of attention and was deleted, too bad.

    1999 c3500HD 4x4

These are all the pics I could find on this phone. My old phones have all the build pics and pics from picking it up in Montana and driving it 3,000 miles home.

    1999 c3500HD 4x4

Here’s some pics of my ‘99 c3500HD I converted to 4x4 using the correct Dana 70 front. Bought it 6 years ago, was a Montana forestry brush truck, 38,000 miles on it at the time. 6.5, nv4500, bw4470. The 6.5 has actually treated me very well considering the dislike so many have, it gets 16 mpg...

Snow Plowing HEAVY Snow...Pic heavy for your enjoyment

Couple of my truck, was pushing snow back and got too close to the ditch. Had to winch out. My 3 year old son had to tell the story of how we got stuck to everyone haha.

    RCLB K2500, K3500 Differences?

As far as Napa’s website is concerned the brake calipers are all the same between 2500s and 3500s even if it’s a dually. 2500s with 454 6.5 and all 3500s got the hydro boost brakes. Biggest factor is what engine you have as far as differences. A 454 or a 6.5 will get you all the extras most...

    Wobble/Vibration Under Acceleration Between 25-45mph

that's called a carrier bearing and they do fail just like anything else. Funny thing is, any vibration from rear driveling or tire problems I've ever had show up around 40-50 mph. And if it's a driveshaft problem most of the time it's worse when applying throttle

Interested in 2 Wheel Drive Low - is it possible?

t case HAS to be shifted into 4 lo obviously so obviously the front driveshaft HAS spin. Only possibility of two low would be if the front diff doesn't send power to either wheel when power is cut to the actuator on the front diff.

What noises can you guys pick up on?

If any pulleys are not properly in line as they should be you will for sure get noise. Or net properly fastened power steering pump, alternator.. Etc. when I was 16 I bought my first Chevy, a 93 350. I replaced almost every to stop a belt squeak until I realized someone before improperly...

1/2 ton diesel swap will the 4l60 hold?

Yup, 6.5 should be the last thing swapped into anything, especially a truck with a 4l60e. You can definitely do better with the money. At least if you end up swapping in the 6.5 from a donor truck use its tranny and everything else with it.

4l80e stalls in reverse when warm???

^exactly. I'm going to test drive it tomorrow and see exactly how it acts in person. Not gunna let the Trans stop me from buying it bc it's so hard to find these in a 4x4 plus you can't ever find the parts to make them 4x4. But it'd be nice to fix this problem.

4l80e stalls in reverse when warm???

Anything is possible. But would the safety switch only be faulty when the truck is warm??? It's fine the the truck has been only running for a bit

4l80e stalls in reverse when warm???

I'm going to look at it this weekend but according to the owner it always runs fine even when warm until it goes into reverse. Then it will start right back up. And yes, he says it dies right away when shifted into reverse. This truck has 60k miles on it. The tranny was rebuilt not too long ago...
