Yeah, 4" suspension and 2" body is what I was thinking. Are the Rough Country shocks pretty decent? One last question.. what's a good body lift? Lol

Yeah, that's what I figured. Looks like I'll be ordering the kit soon. Can't find anything else and I'm not really into the whole lowered truck scene, lol.

I've got a 96 single cab short bed. Been looking at the 4" Rough Country kit, but I'm curious about tire size with a 20" wheel. Can I run a true 33 with just the 4" lift? Or will I have to use a body lift, too?

Good friend of mine is selling me a 4.8L out of a 2000 model Silverado for next to nothing. I was just curious if anyone had done it and could give me some tips and links to different parts that are needed, etc. I apologize if this topic has already been covered a million times.
I've got 2" drop shackles on it now but the front end still sets lower than the rear and I really want it level or have a slight rake. Would the rake be real noticeable with a 4" drop on the rear and no drop on the front?
If I did a 4" drop (spring hangers and shackles) on my rearend, would it set level with the front of my truck, which is at factory height? I've got a single cab short wheelbase cheyenne.
Ran across this while I was installing a radio in my 96. It's got a battery and fuse wired into it and it's wired into my headlight switch. Anyone know what it is??
