C1500 10 bolt G80 diff width

Looking for measurements from axle face to axle face, I can get a good deal on a 12 bolt with a trutrac just unsure if it will fit. Came up with this thread, http://www.gmt400.com/forum/showthread.php?18256-OBS-rear-axle-width&highlight=width But the one guy "thinks" and the other guys...

I like those facts hah, everyone I know recommend I go 9" and I would never look back. So I'm going to look at a 1976 F150 rearend tonight.

Buddy sent me this thing for sale, and I didn't connect the dots till now. Super clean and tastefully modded, the economy sucks and I'm somewhat in the same boat but if I get laid off ill just park my truck. Granted I do live at home still lol.

Ya I thought of a 14 bolt for awhile but at the end of the day I think the 9" is the best decision. I hear nothing but good about them.

Lol yes a lot has changed since you've read, ya I believe a 9" will be a good long term investment. I was working on my stomach most of the time hah, it sucked!

My wheels rub the inside tubs as it is so I would need spacers lol. I looked into going the 10 bolt route but if I go turbo'd and then try to launch at the track I don't think it will hold. So I think the 9" is the best long term route to go. "Well at 700 whp you are demanding a lot. If you...

G80 went boom at the drag strip, best run so far is 13.77 with traction problems. Finally warmed up the tires and the diff blew though hah. Further investigation: One day and 45$ later she's back rocking a junkyard G80, may start looking into a 9"
