97 4l60 to nv4500 swap ?'s

Yeah I went ahead and swapped the gauge cluster and now the check engine light is on. so I went ahead and plugged in my code reader and I only had 13. lol but it drives. and it only has 209000 on it now instead of 241000.

2500 crewcab with 350 heavy towing

I have a 97 2500 with 3.73, 4l80e, and haul corn and hay with gooseneck trailers. I've scaled 35000 loaded before and never had any issues. Just don't try to clime hills to quickly.

no lights codes or screwy stuff. the cruse even works. as long as it thinks its in park, which I did by just leaving the auto control box plugged in and turned to the park possession

Ok i figured it out on my own. By far the simpalest tranny swap ever. Screw you guys and all your computer flashing bull on all theses forums. Just do it, it works. Sorry if i dont sound to nice. But come to find out beer and 8 man hours (two people so four total) get it done.

Your input is greatly appreciated. I have a 97 ext cab k1500 with a bad tranny and transfer case. I also have a parts truck (no motor) 96 K3500 std cab long box with a nv4500 I understand the pedal swap and have the flywheel and clutch kit. but i am getting over my head with the with the...

I think they will but the actuator is different. And i cant find one that will plug and play on the 88-92 front diffs

Yeah that looks right for 97. 88-93 were different 94-98 was that one.

k2500 k3500 front differential

I have a 97 k2500 i was wondering if a front differential from an 88 k3500 willwork i know they list two differnt diffs but whats the difference? Thank you.
