Yes, I put a circle around where there's a black spot just under the iron which gave me an intermittent rough idle and shorted completely when I went through the car wash. I found it by spray some water around on the ignition system and, when I sprayed the coil, the engine died.
I would think, with the smaller 94 - 95 injectors at that pressure, it would run even better since you'll have a higher differential between boost and TB pressures but, I may be wrong.
Here's what I got out of an Accel coil after 6 Months on my 88. The engine started to die when I ran it through the car wash and idle was a little choppy. Now I'm running an AC Delco GM Genuine coil - no issues. YMMV
After I rebuilt the top end of the 350 in my 88. I went to prime the oil pump and make sure we had oil flowing up to the top. I took the priming tool and after spinning it for a while I started smelling gas! I realized the Oil Pressure Switch turned on the fuel pump! The power going to that...

Here's what I did with mine, including a relay that givers the compressor full battery voltage. The mods are in blue. This works great, I haven't had any explosions since, LOL
I'm confused - your 89 doesn't have metal tubes for the EGR, it only has a vacuum hose from the solenoid to the EGR.
Are you sure you're not talking about the A.I.R. (Air Injection Reactor). Are the tubes you're talking about going from a pump on the right side bottom front of the engine to...
I got all 4 for my 88 from Rock Auto. One was damaged too but, they promptly replaced it. Fitment was pretty good, I seem to remember I had to use a drift punch to line up all the mounting holes. When I bought them, they were $32.27 YMMV
In my experience, the Moderators here are fairly lenient and will normally give you/us a warning before escalating to any punishment. Take heed and try not to get to that point :deal:
A few years ago, Brandon Brown won a NASCAR Xfinity race. While a female commentator, was talking about how he managed to win, a bunch of the crowd started chanting - she said something like "listen to the crowd chanting Let's go Brandon!" when, in actuality they were chanting "F*ck Joe...
