Just wondering, how is your bed's powder coating holding up? I have a Bradford on my truck and I am about to sandblast it down and have it painted, the power coat comes off if you hit it right with the pressure washer, and it is pushing rust through.... dang Illinois winter :nono:- ndians68

5.3 or 6.0????
A 5.3 would do it, but a 6.0 would do it a heck of a lot better. But if you use your truck for a dd, and want fuel millage I would go with the 5.3- ndians68

Need opinion on sub
In the past 4 months a lot has happened to the flatbed's stereo system. In that time, I blew one of the cheap speakers that was in it, had a new system put in it (head unit, all door speakers and a single 10 shallow memphis all powered with a kenwood amp) Well long story short, here we sit 4...- ndians68

Of you want the full potential of a boosted set up I say forget the carb swap, and go to an ls motor. It would be a lot of work, but you can easliy with a few lbs of boost be over 500hp. I don't know much about boosting with a carb, but from all I have read about boosting a ls efi set up (days...- ndians68

2dr crate motor swap
interesting, I swear I saw a built one on Finish Line Trans. for like 1500. I know that one for our 94 got rebuilt, and the guy that did the build (was beefed up and said to withstand 700hp) and it was like 1k- ndians68

So I'm on the fence about adding a lift to my 2 door hoe...
I'd say buy a 6" rcx, and leave it cranked down, and not add a leaf. But from everything I have seen you will have to cut the y- ndians68
