My 98 Chevy 1500 With 454 7.4L Swap

454 swap starts but wont run

It ended up being security. Turn key on for 10mins, turn off. Then back on for 10mins, then off, then back on for 10mins and start and wallaaa it worked!

My works compuyer system shows fuel pumps are the same. Gurl lines are same size too. Im thinking something to do with fuel pump relay

454 swap starts but wont run

Starting off, i have a 1998 chevy k1500, took a engine, and full engine harness out of a 1998 chevy c2500, engine was 7.4l ran awesome drove it on trailer perfect. Pulled both engines. Put 7.4l in 1500, got whole drivetrain setup. Went to start it.... it starts beautiful but dies after a second...

1998 350 to 454 Swap

So I can't find any wiring diagrams for my transfer case wires. I want to see where they go and what they connect into? will the 98 2500 have the wires for a transfer case on that harness? even though it's not a 4x4 truck?

Shouldn't be too hard to swap the engine harness am I right? Do I have to pull the dash out?

When you say I can make the 4l60 wiring work, does that mean splicing new wiring? how hard would it be to get the modules and wiring out of the 2500 truck and make them work in the 1500 so I don't have to reprogram.
