That's a different truck. Same idea with the back glass, though.

I've seen a black one with a '72 front grill and the guy kept the stock hood looked pretty sweet and a lot cheaper, lol

I do too! It's out of the same '66 c10 the dash came from. If I could get a '66 front clip on it then it would be complete!

I put my wheels on for a test fit today. I've got quite a bit more room than I anticipated.. I'm sure after I burn those tires off I'll throw some meatier drag radials on her and drop it another inch or so in the rear.

The top part of the dash is out if a '66 C10 pickup and there was a drop down panel added to cover up some unsightly stuff. All the work was done by a body shop owner in Jasper, Ar. He did the work for a customer and then bought the truck back when the customer put it up for sale. He said he...

I switched up my tire sizes a bit and ordered some Coopers today. I went with 235/50r18 in the front (27.3X9.3) and 265/45r18 in the rear which is 27.4X10.4. 5" backspacing on a 9" wheel puts the mounting surface in the dead center. So my 18X9's have 5" front and backspacing. My 8" wheels have...

Wheel question and I've searched and searched, maybe I'm a dumbarse

No, the 8" wheel is really 9" in total width, so a 4.5" backspace would put the mounting surface dead center.

    '66 Dash in an '89 GMC 1500

Check this out y'all. I picked it up about a week ago. Love the dash! A body shop owner in Jasper, Ar did all this work for a customer and then bought the truck back when the customer put it up for sale. He said he put 100 hours just on the interior and I believe it. Work was done in '98 and...

Do you have any more pics of this setup? I'm curious about how far out the lip of your front wheel sits. I just ordered a set of 18X8's and 9's at 0 offset (4.5 and 5 inch backspace) and I have been slightly worried about fitment. Which drop did you end up with?

I have detailed the engine bay since this pic and it cleaned up very nicely

I pretty much took care of the back tires! They are toasted. I didn't figure I would run into too many issues running a 27" diameter but I was concerned about my 0 offset wheels. I'll have to wait until she gets home from the shop to record some good vid but I might have a lil something on my...

Whats up guys? I picked up my first lowered truck the other day and like a dumbass I went and ordered wheels before I really measured anything. I guess I got a little excited. Anyways, here is what I am working with: 1988 GMC Sierra, Unknown drop kit, C notched, 14 bolt rear end, 550hp 408ci...
