    Well i thought the same as you SAATR until i took an auto tech class and the way it was explain to me was that if the trans fluid is too cold then itll be thick causing a strain on the pump and other parts in the trans...Nathaniel2g is right.....honestly i still question it. but jasper i believe...

    you want it to run throught the external first then the rad cooler... if you buy a reman trans you have to do it this way for warrenty reasons and these companies are not trying to give you any trannys for free... so theres some food for thought..

    Why not just swap in a steering wheel like this???? Its out of an 02 Escalade. The 02 Chevy savanna has the same steering wheel w/out the buttons of course but with the bowtie center.

    I'm idk if anyone mentioned this cause I skipped to the end of the thread. There is a cpfi to mpfi direct fit for vortec engines with no changes to the intake manifold. So you get actual injectors for it and I have seen all they way up to 64lb injectors on eBay of you have this swap.
