An update. It turned out to be the proportioning valve. No pin movement at all. Replaced it and the rears bleed good. Took the original valve apart and it was so full of crap it was froze up. As far as the calipers locking up again, bought the calipers and pads at AZ. What I got was light duty...

After some lookin around this forum, I may have created my own nightmare. I just picked up a 90 W/T 1500 2wd. with no brakes at all. So I what I've done so far,new calipers+ pads, all 3 hoses, one new wheel cylinder, new vac booster and 2 mc's, deleted the rwal. I have blown out the lines with...

Folks let this be a lesson. When I did the security relearn, the battery kept draining down because of the DRL's. So I pulled the fuse for, so I thought, the drl/fog lights. Turns out I pulled the wrong fuse. I pulled the fuse for PRND. Which also is the same circuit as the tac, and speedo...

How do i reset the sucurity?

After charging the battery over night and changing out key lock cylinder in the new column to the original lock, this relearn did work. The Yukon lives again.

Ok truck is now starting. When I first tried the relearn, I had the key lock cylinder that came with the new steering column. I charged the battery over night, and just for the hell of it I changed out the lock cylinder. The relearn worked the first time trying it. Don't really know for sure if...

When you try this make sure you got a good battery. The drl's killed mine tryng this.

This did not work for me tonight. With the drl's on the two times I tried it, killed the battery. I tried pulling the fuse for the drl/for lights but did not kill the drl's. The battery was weak, so tomorrow will get a new one and try it again.

Sense I bought this Yukon I've had no blinkers or hazards and the tilt no longer locks in place. Today I got another steering column and it's installed. Now everything works as it should, but now won't start. It'll try to fire but won't run, and after about three or four seconds hold the key in...

New in Tenn.

No pics yet. Am leaning more towards the 14 bolt. Not much difference in cost of new gears and master pinion set compared to just bolting in a 14 bolt. Can get a 14 bolt from local yard for 275.00. Ring and pinion set 269.00 + 169.00 master kit. Of coarse will need 6 lug wheels with the 14 bolt...

New in Tenn.

Got this 95 Tahoe 2wd, 4dr. to pull my 4800 lbs camper. I had tried to pull it with a 96 Kota, but that truck had too short a wheel base, so was too light up front. I like the Tahoe, comfortable to drive on long trips, and not too bad on gas right now gettin bout 12 to 13.5 miles to a gal. Needs...
