Scored this beaut in August for $4k.
One owner, 142k miles, garage kept.
Had to fix the A\C. That was $300 to rebuild, new intake gasket and I put new 15x10 rallies and 275/60/15 tires. And removed that ugly bug deflector.
Next up is just enough drop to close the gap in the fenders.
Update.
I lowered the front 2" and did the 2" front hangers. Sitting at 2/4 and thats what I wanted.
I went with 18" boss 338 wheels all the way around. I went with the same width all the way around as I wanted to be able to rotate tires.
I got rid of the horrible aftermarket seat that Mark III...
I have my fathers old 93 c1500
334k on the original trans.
It has never been rebuilt, and so far has yet to fail. I bet the truck as over 100k on it towing a drag car on a trailer.
Alight guys, Newbie here and I need some real help here.
I want to drop another 2" with hangers as it has 2" shackles now. I will be doing 2" spindles in the front (DJM or McGaughy).
I have took the flares off already and getting new wheels as well.
I do know I want 17" wheels and I dont plan on...
I want to take it down 2" in the front and 2" in ther rear. It has 2" shackles now. I have ditched the flares already and new wheels are going on very soon.
