Intake Gasket Replacement

Got a question for the experts. 99 K2500, 5.7 vortec, 111,000 miles. Loses about a half gallon of antifreeze per 600 miles. Just changed oil, it came out perfect. No evidence of antifreeze. Front of the motor has drips of antifreeze on it, but can't tell for sure where it's coming from...

New to Chevys

Hi all, just bought my first Chevy after driving Fords since getting my license in 2000. Chose Chevy because I don't like the Ford 5.4 or V-10 in the 99+ trucks. It came down to either a pre-97 Ford or an 88+ GM. Found a clean 99 K2500 with a 5.7 and bought it. Not exactly what I wanted but...

Just Signed Up

Small world. I'm working at the Avon Lake power plant at the moment on an outage, got another week or two. Just joining the site myself. Too bad I'm on night shift, I'd offer you a beer sometime. I'd like to trade knowledge sometime, I've done a few solid axle swaps and know my way around...
