Update. Hit the frame with some degreaser to remove nearly 30 years of grime. And some black paint... feels so dirty after sandblasting the other frame on the duramax build. But some trucks are budget frame on builds. New control arms and alignment bolts were a must. And the rest of...- JScott23

Unfortunately, then disaster struck. In February, I made the poor decision to try and drive this thing to Kansas to pick up the LB7 for the Duramax project. I knew better. When i bought the truck, the mileage didn't scare me. The price was right, and i knew the motor (original) owed nobody...- JScott23

As for the paint & body work. I'm self taught. I mentioned in my duramax thread that i made some rookie mistakes on my first paintjob. I've come a long way since then. In my eyes, anyone interested in restoring vehicles has two choices; Pay a premium to have paint work done or learn to do it...- JScott23
