How wide of tire can I run?

Mine’s got 315/20s out back and 285/20s up front. No rubbing or anything like that but mine is also only leveled in the back, not lowered up front

305 Vortec to 335 stroker

Feels like traction on this post is dying but I still don’t have a clear answer. If I were to keep the 305, what is the best way to gain some power? Is their a head/cam combo with the 305 I can use with the vortec EFI to gain some power? Outside of obviously not being able to bore to a 350...

So since I am just trying to get more power out of this 305, does anyone know about any head and cam combos I could use? From what I can tell online, it is difficult to find a set of heads for a vortec because of the special intake manifold, which I would prefer to keep stock along with the EFI...

Definitely can’t bore a 305 to a 350. Just do a google search and you’ll find a million references explaining it. That’s not an option for me.

If that ends up being true, then I would definitely end up doing the swap, I’m not just trying to throw away money. The crate engine I’m interested in cost a little under 3k plus, sense I don’t have the necessary equipment, cost for a shop to install. So do you think having a shop do a rebuild +...

Thanks for the response. So I’m only asking out of complete ignorance, but could you fill me in on why 305s specifically like to spin fast and strokers don’t necessarily like to?
