    Step side

I have a 98 stepside, the box sides arent fiberglass, there made of something called SMC, I had cracks on both sides when I got the truck and wanted to fix them as well. To fix it i used a die grinder with a coarse disk on it to grind out the crack a little and make a wide valley, then I used...

    91 Excab Silverado

Nice truck, I've got a 91 as well. You going to bag it? I would get rid of those bed rail bars, maybe some new park lights, is the grill shell messed up, cracked, broken? If not I would probably keep it and just paint it. Do you have any specific plans for this thing? How's it run? What kinda...

whats the best way to fix up a few paintless spots?

I had a bunch of spots like that on my 95 4x4 behind the rear tires on the box, all I did was dab some por-15 on the bare metal spots, being its a black truck you couldn't really notice it. That was probably 3 years ago, I've since added some new paint chips to the collection but the old ones I...

    Painting.

Gray primer is usually best to use. If you use black primer chances are the color is going to be darker.

    Peeling clear coat.. options/opinions?

unfortunately there's no "fix" for peeling clearcoat except to sand it down and repaint, as far as that rust goes I would hit it with some 80 grit and finish it up with some 180 after most of the chunky rust is gone then spray a direct to metal epoxy primer on it to prevent any more rust from...

    Sherwin Williams paint opinions?

Being a painter I have to agree with Marcos, if the painter is good it will look good. Just out of curiosity, the option between the DuPont and the sher-will is that for a base clear paint job or are they offering you the cheaper paintjob as a single stage?

Rhino vs Line-X Spray On Liner

I personally wouldnt recomend the raptor liner, I've used it twice on friends trucks and both of them werent happy with it, it becomes very hard and chips off easily. The best bedliner I have used is made by pro form, it comes in gallon or quart size cans and is a product I would use over and...
