Update time. Truck now has amazon tow mirrors. They're ricey and shake alot more than I wanted them to but someone took off my drivers side mirror so I was kind of stuck. I put a 50in light bar on the roof and come to find out the roof rails are not 50inches wide... I was drunk when I ordered it...

Update: I've put 3100 miles on the new transmission. Although it shifts funky and shutters on tcc unlocking at like 70+ I think the trucks doing ok. I put a new waterpump and thermostat although its still kind of leaking a little bit of coolant. I heard mixed reviews on thread sealant for the...

Issues with Shifting 1-2

It shift literally fine if I'm easy on it and if I am beating on it the trans just take a second between 1-2, shifts fine 2-3 and 3-4. I cant figure out. Is the fluid of concern? I am using Valvoline Max Life ATF.

Just to end this debacle. I changed the spark plug wires with duralat regular wires and my truck runs top. I realized after driving through the rain and the mis getting worse it had to be wires not the transmission.

Also last night my friend who is a small motor mechanic felt it since he helped with the transmission swap and said it sounded like a chugging misfire. Is there ANY way to differentiate a miss from a trans issue?

I finally got around to looking and I notice with the good ole water trick there was a ton of spark leaving the bottom spark plug boot jumping straight to the headshield around the headers. So I will be replacing those and the spark plug themselves to see if it fixes my problem. Its happening at...

I may also thing my O2 sensors might be the issue as the exhaust came off the truck for several days and we had to drill and punch the studs out of the catted mid pipe section. But idk what to look for aside from the electrical and fuel pressure. I still know my buddy was shocked by something...
