    The QD for the heater core hose is between the TBI and the distributor and is threaded into the intake manifold. This video is the 5.7 but it is in almost the same location on the 7.4. Again, I just replaced it with a kings nipple and did away with the problematic QD.

    I haven't done a bleed down test yet and I'm not planning on pulling the heads or the intake unless I have to. With mileage unknown, We shall see. I'll be tinkering with it a little today and I'll give it the steam treatment and do a full seafoam treatment and we'll see what kind of carbon comes...
