    Good spray on undercoating

3m rubberized undercoat. Believe p/n is 8883. Not cheap but very good stuff and when it's cured it's not tacky. It's like spraying rubber.

4l60e Geeks: Trick to getting the Forward Clutch Piston back in?

I recently built my first one and had a problem in the same area. Finally gave up and ordered a set of pistons with bonded seals. Went together really easy and they should last a lot longer than the early style lip seals. If you go this way make sure to get the return spring too, they're...

    94 4l60e no 3rd gear

Pulled the pan and no chunks or debris but the fluid is dark and smells burned. It's my sons truck and he hasn't got much cash ( Dad's footing the bill ) so trying to repair as cheap as possible. The only electronics in your turn signal lever is the switch for the cruise control. To remove it you twist it about 1/4 turn and pull it out of the wiper switch. The wiper switch is a separate component. The washer switch is part of the wiper switch. If your having problems with your wipers...

    Strange Power Window Probelm

Sounds like your window motors are about worn out. They work harder putting the window up, overheat and shut down until they cool off. Pulling up on the glass while you press the switch will probably help temporarily but eventually you'll need to replace them. I think the radio thing is maybe...

    couple questions regarding my 4l60E

I wouldn't consider cutting up the c/member. There's only 2 nuts and bolts on either side and a nut on the mount. Remove them, raise the back end of the tranny an inch or so and slide the c/member back a couple inches and your good to go. It's really not that big of a deal.
