    Nice rides, C10 looks great, you can do a lot with that Tahoe. They are very nice. I don’t see why you shouldn’t be able to login into a friendly automotive site, Are the login restrictions coming from the US or Germany?

    If you have a 88 to 91 and you’re comfortable at soldering, pick up a seven pin dip switch like these . pop your cluster apart and remove the seven fuses in this picture. Solder in the dip switch this will then be able to calibrate your speedometer with the tires that you have on your vehicle.

    Can anybody identify this shift lever arm, picked it up at a swap meet and apparently it is not correct for a 350 turbo. Been unable to find any info on the part number 8695 W Thank you in advance. :)

    1991 no crank no start

    You can take a test light and check the purple solenoid wire on the starter to see if it lights in the crank position. If not bypass the neutral safety switch and see if it lights up then. That will let you know if your neutral safety switch is good or out of adjustment.

    post what year and model you have and also what type of compressor to get Help in fixing your problem. Replacing the compressor seal or bearing is not that hard to do. I replaced the seal on my 1990 with the compressor still on the truck a few years back. You can find the procedure on YouTube.

    Hook up a set of gauges on it and see what the pressure is on the high side, if your orifice tube is becoming clogged, it could build up too much pressure on the high side and caused that safety switch in the compressor to release the pressure.

    Gauge Cluster Issues

    Changing to another cluster not solving the problem. Sounds like you may have a loose connection problem Where the plug attaches to the back of the cluster, also check your ground. When you had the cluster out, did you check the plug to see if it had any corrosion?

    1990 v1500 GMC Suburban (Gran Prix flavor) keeps blowing 30a power window fuse.

    A good place to start would be check any aftermarket electrical add-ons most likely that’s where a lot of problems occur. Somebody at one time may have tied something into the windows circuit, causing it to ground, blowing the fuse.
