    power window issues

Check the rubber boot between the door and the body, sometimes the copper wire will break, but still be connected with the rubber coating. Last summer, I fixed a friend of mine’s 2008 Silverado same problem three wires in the rubber boot were broke if you reached in and grab the rubber boot and...

89 silverado gauge swap altenator not charging

From your picture, Curious to know why your oil gauge needle is pointing way over to 3 o’clock. Is it only like that when the ignition is off? never seen one do that unless there was something wrong with the oil gauge.

What is this plastic lid called on the center arm rest/seat back?

LKQ has a search engine on their website if you would happen to have any of those salvage yards in your state. It’s easy to look up the year and model to find out if they have any instead of going to the yard itself and not finding what you’re looking for.

    Help with temp gauge.

I would start by checking for a loose wire, or maybe replacing the temperature sensor in the head if you don’t find any problems with wiring.

    90-1500

Wow, you have a lot of work ahead of you to get that all back together especially with the messed up wiring. Hopefully you’ll be able to find some of the original wiring to put back that has been all chopped up. And while you’re at it if your 1990 has moon gauges in it, you should look into the...

Bad wheel bearing What to buy

After doing some research, I find Timkin bearings are made in the US and also China. Guess we’ll have to start looking closely at the box to see what country it was made in. also, checked into SKF and they’re bearings are made in about 12 different countries, including the US.

Removing oil filter from the LS engine.

Looking to find a nice oil filter wrench that will fit into the tight area of the LS motor with the stock aluminum oil pan. preferably one that will slip up on the oil filter and you could use a 3/8 or half inch drive ratchet to remove. The ones I have here at my garage work great on a small...

Coolant temp sensor - what is a good replacement?

I personally would go to a GM dealer give them the last eight digits of your Vin number and get the correct one, as aftermarket is not always a good choice.

I dont know what i have, can you help me?

If you know someone in the parts department at a Chevrolet dealer, you can give them the last eight digits of the vehicles Vin number, and they should be able to tell you what you have.
