I have a 1990 gmc sierra 5.7 k1500. My brake light started flashing. My brake fluid is good and my brakes work perfectly. It flashes 8 times fast and on the 9th is a long one. If it’s nothing serious I’ll just take out the light from the cluster.
I’m using Quaker state 5w-30. The sending unit should be for 60psi. I don’t know if I need to tighten the sensor more because when I rev the truck goes up to 45 psi. But when I’m driving it stays at about 30-35 psi no matter the speed. But I’ve heard these gauges aren’t always accurate.
Just changed my oil pressure sensor on my 1990 gmc k1500 5.7. It stays at about 30-35psi while driving even at high speeds, it goes down to about 25psi when at a red light and goes back up to 30-35 when I give it gas. Is that normal psi for these types of trucks? Thanks
I am replacing my old interior door handle that broke with a new one I found at the junkyard. I know I have to drill out the rivets holding in the door handle, but what type/size of rivet should I use to replace them? Thanks
I want to replace the bulbs that are under the dash for the passenger and driver side of my 1990 k1500 single cab. Does anyone know what size I would need to get. Thanks
