Just an update after reading a few other threads I tried shifting manually from 1 to 2 and it still shifted really hard. Any thoughts?- Adam_T

Hard 1-2 shift
So I am new to these trucks just bought a 95 GMC 1500 4x4. Truck has 228000kms and transmission probably hasn't been touched but the truck has been taken care of. Anyway it has a hard slamming 1-2 shift and all other shifts seem very smooth .It also seems to hold 1st a little longer than it...- Adam_T
