cheap intake thing

so i bought my truck monday, and it came with a cheap cold air intake. basically the filter in the stock box with the top of the box off. i had to switch back to the stock filter to pass smog but then i threw the other one on. do i have to reset the maf sensor or anything like that?

1 ton leaf springs on a 1500

as long as it looks level. the zero rate spring seems like the way to go. if there is a way to eliminate blocks, im all about it

jj what kind of mpg you get with those 285's and 3.42. ive got the 3.42 in a 14bolt.

thats what i figured, probably dc lift with a shakle flip and a 1.5 block?

1 ton leaf springs on a 1500

hey i have 1 ton leafs on a 14 bolt sf and i was wondering how i could lift the truck and keep the leafs? i was thinking probably block, but maybe a shakle flip? and of course theres a body lift but i was thinking more suspension. thanks for the help

P1870

I just bought a 97 1500 4x4 this morning, and it threw the P1870 code for transmission slippage. I was searching through this forum and saw what i thought was pretty basic repairs, but the guy at A1 and the chevy dealer said it could be more complicated. Is there any insight people could give...
