We litterally just cut the roof and lifted the back half of the body off lol, nothing was attached and the top was the only think keeping it on. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

    Big ol' Gooseneck build

Thanks! Ones i have currently do not, they are just some junk thrown together to use the trailer. Once i purchase the new ones i will make a slot in the end of the dove tail to slide them in with a locking door of some sort. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

    Big ol' Gooseneck build

I built these ramps out of a semi loading ramp cut in two, has a piece of 10' channel bolted to the back to stiffen it up (heavy as hell). Ile use these until i order a set of the new 10k ones. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

    Big ol' Gooseneck build

I have a friend with a 34' deck gooseneck, the one i used to haul mine home, and it washed any desire for me to have one that big right away.. its WAY to big to maneuver down any kind of tight streets easily. Mines 28' and i can get it almost anywhere i can get my bumper pull 18' Sent from my...

    Big ol' Gooseneck build

Now i decided i want a set of loose aluminum ramps, i found some online that are a perfect fit (8' long, 10k capacity) so i used a piece of 6" channel for the rear end of the trailer. Cut holes for the lights, added a 1.5" rail to the top for the ramps to hook to. Sent from my XT1635-01...

Perfect fit! Used it as-is for the rest of last year. And hauled various other things as well. Hauled this a few weeks ago, realized i need to replace all the brakes too. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

    Big ol' Gooseneck build

The whole reason i bought my 97 k3500 drw was because i planned to buy or build a gooseneck capable of transporting 2 jeeps at the same time, i had been using a 1500 and a bumper pull for years and it just wasnt cutting it. So i Sold them and bought my 3500 and started hunting for a project. And...

    Torque app trans temp gauge

It seems to show almost everything else you can see on a 98, excluding fuel gauge which apparently goes straight to the gauge cluster, unlike the 98 that goes thru the ecm according to another thread. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk
