Question about LSx swap in OBS with stock 5 speed.

Awesome, thanks man. I was hoping someone had done it that way since the transmission is still in good shape for now.

Question about LSx swap in OBS with stock 5 speed.

I have a 95 GMC ECSB I am rebuilding and have a question of what type of flywheel and clutch hardware would be needed to swap a 5.3L or 6.0L with a stock 95 NVG3500. I know the LSx swaps with older auto's required a 6.0L spacer and bolts on the flexplate but lost on this. Also, is the NVG3500...

Question about 700R4 and 4L60E

I was afraid of that. I guess that's what I will do when third and fourth finally give out. Off of Howard close to the loop. I guess you are in the area as well?

I would but I am to do it as quick as possible, like a couple hours turn around. I haven't rebuilt a transmission in about ten years so I would have to take my time doing that. Its my main means of transportation since it has AC and my other truck doesn't, West Texas heat is killer nowadays. lol.

Question about 700R4 and 4L60E

I have a 93 C1500 2WD with 350 auto. From what I understand I have a 4L60E in it. I have a 700R4 from a 90 C1500 I thought about rebuilding and putting it in the 93 but I don't know if it will work with the computer and harness. If anyone could tell me if the 700 will work in the 93 or what all...
