97 yukon build
97 gmc yukon 4x4, 350, rebuilt transmission, 162k miles. Traded a farm truck for it to 16 year old kid before he screwed it up any worse. Needs some tlc but a halfway solid starting point. Not really sure how much money I want to spend on it, so im gonna start off with small things and fixing...- 92GMC

Question about IFS suspension lift
Theres really no way around it, you may not have to drop it with just the 2-3" kit, but you will be replacing cv axles very often. A straight axle swap is alot more work, and alot more expensive. If you never plan on doing any serious offroading (rock climbing and the like) then its hard to...- 92GMC

Truck looks good for the price! Definitely upgrade the lift pump asap. Vp44's aren't cheap, I would recommend an air dog or similar lift pump. Compared to the price of a vp44 it's cheap insurance.- 92GMC
